Crossfit The Challenge – Manager, Momager, Coach

Coco grew up as the least coordinated / athletic person within a 30-mile radius (scientific fact).  In college she was introduced to fitness when she began attending a class at the local YMCA.  Falling in love with group fitness, she quickly became a certified instructor of bootcamp, kickboxing, HIIT, yoga and cycling.  When a friend convinced her to try a local CrossFit class she tentatively walked in, having no idea what it entailed.  Although initially intimidated, she quickly fell in love with the physical and mental challenge, newfound confidence, barbell movements, and most importantly – supportive community.  Coco was also thankful she could finally break up with the boring elliptical machine (they are not on speaking terms). Her favorite CrossFit movements include olympic lifts and handstand walks.  She is passionate about helping people, women especially, discover their own physical, mental and spiritual strength.  Coco has her L-2 certificate, CrossFit Conjugate Methods certificate, and her Adaptive and Inclusive Trainer certification through the Adaptive Training Association. In her spare time, she enjoys sharing the love of the Lord with others, homeschooling her four sons, eating peanut butter (from the jar), and traveling.
