COACH COCO

Crossfit The Challenge – Coach

Coco grew up as the least coordinated / athletic person within a 30-mile radius (scientific fact).  In college she was introduced to fitness when she began attending a class at the local YMCA.  Falling in love with group fitness, she quickly became a certified instructor of bootcamp, kickboxing, HIIT, yoga and cycling.  When a friend convinced her to try a local CrossFit class she tentatively walked in, having no idea what it entailed.  Although initially intimidated, she quickly fell in love with the physical and mental challenge, newfound confidence, barbell movements, and most importantly – supportive community.  Coco was also thankful she could finally break up with the boring elliptical machine (they are not on speaking terms). Her favorite CrossFit movements include olympic lifts and handstand walks.  She is passionate about helping people, women especially, discover their own physical, mental and spiritual strength.  Coco has her L-1 certificate, CrossFit Conjugate Methods certificate and has taken the CrossFit Scaling course and 2018 Judges course. In her spare time, she enjoys sharing the love of the Lord with others, playing with her son, eating peanut butter (from the jar), and traveling.

COACH Arely

Crossfit The Challenge- Coach

Arely is our homegrown BootCamp Athlete. She started with us walking through the doors as a timid yet confident young lady in search to transform her life. Immediately she was very coach-able and excelled in learning the details of each foundation movement CrossFit teaches. She became a big part of our community and was always working hard as well as uplifting and encouraging to everyone around her.

In 2020 Arely decided to get L1 certified and crushed the Cert as everyone knew she would. Arely loves Olympic Lifting movements and comes alongside people well who need encouragement and correction.

We at CFTC are blessed to have such a strong lady as Arely in our staff and are excited to see her continue to progress and develeop  as an athlete as well as a coach!

COACH Jamie

Crossfit The Challenge- 

Jamie is an established Coach and Athlete. Her family is from Iowa and we are blessed to have her as our Coach.

She managed a CrossFit gym in Chicago as well as in Colorado and even contemplated owning a gym herself in the past.

Jamie is a superb Olympic Lifting athlete who has her USA-W, CrossFit L1 & L2 as well as several other fitness certifications.

She is passionate about the detail and technical components of Olympic Lifting and has hosted multiple Weightlifting Seminars at CFTC already.

Jamie is also gifted to teach new athletes the “Ins & Outs” of Foundations which is our Into to CrossFit On-Ramp as well as BootCamp and Kids Classes.

We fortunate to have her as a part of our CFTC community and are excited to learn from her experience as an Athlete and Coach.
